Performance

The GMC Sierra 2500 HD is equipped with a 6.6-liter V8 gas-only engine that produces 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque. This is combined with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission for smooth and effortless shifting. Two-wheel drive is found on the Pro, SLE, and SLT trims, while four-wheel drive is available on all seven trims. An alternate 6.6-liter Duramax turbo diesel V8 engine with 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque is optional across all trim levels and standard on the Denali Ultimate.

Cab and Bed Size

The GMC Sierra 2500 HD comes with the choice of three different cab sizes: a three-seat regular cab, a four-door six-seat double cab, and an extra roomy six-seat crew cab. Two bed sizes are also available. A standard bed, which can be paired with the double cab and crew cab, is approximately 82 inches long. A long bed, available on all three trims, is more than 98 inches long to store extra equipment. Cargo tie-downs come standard, but a prograde trailering tech package, bed lighting, and up to 14 camera views are also available for purchase. The maximum payload capacity is almost 4,000 pounds, perfect for business owners and farmers in he Coldwater, MI and LaGrange, IN areas.

Interior and Exterior Features

The GMC Sierra 2500 HD is tough and reliable both inside and out. Sumptuous, perforated leather-appointed upholstery adorns the front seats.
• The AT4 is an off-road powerhouse thanks to a specially tuned suspension package, twin-tube Rancho shocks, skid plates, and 20-inch gloss-black aluminum wheels with optional BFGoodrich off-road tires. A unique jet-black interior comes with Kalahari accents, heated rear outboard seats, and heated and ventilated front seats.
• The Denali trim features exclusive authentic open-pore wood, patterned aluminum trim, Bose® premium audio system, HD surround vision camera, universal home remote, and forge perforated leather seats.
